IAPMO announced the launch of its Green Plumbing
and Mechanical Code Supplement, which standardizes sustainable residential and
commercial plumbing and mechanical systems for the industry.

Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association's (CoSeIA) Annual Conference &

Standard 189.1, Standard for
the Design of High-Performance, Green Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential
Buildings, is the first code-intended commercial green building standard in the
United States.
ASHRAE will host its High Performance K-12
School Facilities conference on Mar. 1-2 in Atlanta, which will center on maximizing
facility performance, and possibly even students’ potential.

The No Lead line, denoted by option “-CA,”
contains less than 0.25 percent lead. Speakman
also has converted many of its popular sensor faucets to lead-free.
It was never the intent to negate the thermal shock
protection that the 1016-1996 standard had provided the user/bather. Because of this
issue, additional standards were developed.
Construction
