According to the Fourth Quarter U.S.
Construction Briefing by IHS Global Insight’s Construction Service, U.S. construction spending will be
flat in 2011, pushed higher by positive second half gains in the residential
and commercial sectors.
ECR International has appointed Ronald J. Passafaro as chief
operating officer and board member. He will also become President/CEO after
completion of a management transition which will include Mike Paparone’s
separation from the company.
Fortune Brands Inc. announced that its Board
of Directors has unanimously approved in principle a separation of the
company’s three strong consumer businesses - distilled spirits, home and
security (which includes Moen), and golf products.
