TOTO’s expansion into the Brazilian market is a part
of the company’s “Vision Plan 2017.” The company has set the growth of its
international operations as a primary focus for its goal to reach $7.3 billion
in annual sales by its 100th anniversary in 2017.
Construction employment
rose by 33,000, the largest gain in nearly four years, but much
of the increase may have represented catch-up from a weather-exacerbated drop
of 22,000 jobs in January.
