In
partnership with the EPA, GreenPlumbers USA, United Way, Ronald McDonald House,
and various local water utilities and governments, Delta Faucet is fixing leaks this week in
more than 1,000 low-income households and community facilities in Boston,
Philadelphia, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco and
Seattle.
The U.S. Green Building Council and the University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture
and Urban Planning released a landmark report Feb. 29 that describes
how green buildings advance resiliency in disasters.
The
student chapter, which held its first meeting on Jan. 31, is currently
comprised of 13 students representing Bachelor of Science programs in
mechanical engineering technology and architecture.
